The sharing of reusable and eco-friendly equipment to promote eco-friendly practices at events in the Occitanie region.

 Founded in Toulouse in January 2008, the Elémen'terre association is dedicated to promoting eco-friendly practices at events throughout the Occitanie region. To this end, we carry out several activities: 

1. Sharing reusable and eco-friendly equipment: 

• Widespread adoption of a reusable glassware system at events. 
• Rental of reusable tableware for event food service areas. 
• Rental of glass washers.
• Provision of other equipment: trash cans, large-capacity ashtrays, awareness and informational posters.

2. Comprehensive support for eco-responsibility at events and networking

• Individual support for implementing an eco-responsible approach at events: eco-responsibility audit prior to events, on-site presence, logistical support, post-event review.
• Facilitation of a group support program for event organizers
• Eco-management: on-site management of reusable cups or waste sorting (coordination with caterers, washing, implementation of a deposit/refund system, etc.)
• Coordination of a regional directory of eco-responsible service providers for events (catering, dry toilets, waste management, transportation, etc.).

3. Training event organizers in eco-responsibility

· Conducting training sessions on “how to organize eco-responsible events”

4. Education on the environment and sustainable development

• Leading educational workshops on specific topics related to sustainable development (waste reduction, water pollution, etc.)
• Distribution of the Cendrinette (cigarette butt collector) for outdoor events. 

With 310 members, the association has a solid grassroots foundation. Our members include associations, individuals, businesses, and local governments.

In line with the concept of the local economy and taking into account the environmental impact of transportation, Elémen’terre aims to carry out its activities at the regional level
