Welcome to Transition is a non-profit organization under the French Law of 1901, governed by the ECLAT national collective agreement: professions in Education, Culture, Leisure, and Community Activities working for social and environmental benefit, serving local communities.
Recognized for having launched the Château d'Arvieu initiative between 2020 and 2022, co-organized the Aveyron leg of the Citizens’ Climate Convention’s “third-place” tour in 2021, and expanded the T-Campus training program for the first time in 2021 and 2022 in Aveyron, Bienvenue en Transition is the winner of the call for expressions of interest for the Mergieux site launched by the Najac town hall in 2021, and as such is responsible for coordinating the site and planning the project.
Bienvenue en Transition is an association that offers stays, workshops, and activities at the former Mergieux vacation village, located in the heart of the Najac communal forest in Aveyron.
We welcome you from April to October for a discovery tour, a nature outing, a weekend in the countryside, a digital-detox vacation, a rural seminar, an immersion workshop, a Transition training session, a family or friends’ gathering, an artist residency, a “guinguette hike,” a live performance, or even a dinner-concert.
We also host residents, who may be project leaders, associations, seasonal workers, or residents in transitional housing
