Building social ties in rural areas and acquiring agroecological skills

 The TerraPotes Association is a nonprofit organization governed by the French Law of 1901, a public interest organization that was registered with the prefecture on October 9, 2023.

Its purpose is to:

• Fostering social connections, participating in local life, promoting solidarity and generosity, and organizing events to that end;
• Share and acquire knowledge regarding agroecology, food, health, culture, education, and art for a broad public;
• Developing non-profit short-, medium-, or long-term hosting activities;
• Developing non-profit agricultural, artisanal, cultural, and environmental conservation activities;

All activities it offers are non-profit. Surpluses from production activities (e.g., agricultural, artisanal) may be donated for charitable purposes or to the local community.  Service activities (e.g., social, educational, cultural, hospitality...) may be offered free of charge or on a pay-what-you-can basis.

The association aims, in particular, to serve the public interest through solidarity initiatives, donations, the transmission of knowledge, the sharing of rural culture, and the protection of the natural environment.

The organization of this association is designed with respect for living beings and the protection of nature.

Thus, the idea behind this association is to come together to share. To share time and actions, to build connections so that we feel at home in our environment and move toward a better way of living together.

We aim to organize activities and gatherings to share and gain knowledge about agroecology, food, health, culture, education, art, or any other topic that interests us.

Learning is for everyone, regardless of age. 

Ultimately, we hope that the association will be able to develop non-profit short-, medium-, or long-term hosting activities.  Depending on the material and human resources available at the time, we will welcome people wishing to experience a lifestyle closer to nature and living things

We aim to make room for everyone, including people with disabilities. This means considering the accessibility of our facilities in terms of both physical and human resources.
