Hibana is an eco-friendly rural third-place project located along the greenway in Mercuès: a coffee shop, coworking space, and unique lodging in a former SNCF warehouse, situated along the Lot Valley greenway, surrounded by vineyards and trees.
This association paves the way for the creation of the company that will operate the HIBANA third place and the development of the premises that will house it.
This is a project that took shape in our minds during our stay in Japan, and one we’ve been envisioning and building for over two years now: an eco-friendly third-place project on the greenway in Mercuès!
The former SNCF warehouse, warm and rustic, will feature a coffee shop, a coworking space, and lodging in a train car (we’re already dreaming about it!). We’ll serve coffee, tea, and other gourmet hot and cold beverages, savory snacks, cakes, and cookies.
At Hibana, you’ll be able to settle into the train, borrow a book, listen to a vinyl record, organize a meeting, or host a gathering
Rooted in the local economy, the Hibana third place will allow everyone to participate in the ecological and social transition. It fosters exchange and the sharing of knowledge around a spirit of joyful and creative frugality.
