Description

Our nonprofit initiative:

The association “Citizen Actions for a Solidarity-Based Energy Transition,” known as “ACTEnergies,” was founded in 2012.

According to its bylaws, ACTEnergies promotes energy efficiency and renewable energy.  In 2012, it published a report titled “Energy Transition in the PACA Region” (TERP) prior to the August 2015 law on energy transition for green growth.  It works to reduce environmental impacts, promote climate adaptation, and improve public health.  It supports the necessary societal changes by all means toward a circular economy. ACTEnergies is a member of the departmental federation of France Nature Environnement (FNE83). As such, its members serve as representatives on official committees.  It manages projects (OZONE, funded by the DREAL prefectural services; CAPT’AIR CITOYENS) on behalf of the FNE83 federation.

Since 2019, ACTEnergies has been working to combat air pollutants resulting from the combustion of fossil fuels.  Some forty associations, including ACTEnergies, secured a ruling against the French government in July 2020 for its failure to act on reducing air pollutants and the biannual payment of ten million, of which several hundred thousand euros will be allocated in 2021 to ATMOSUD, of which we are members.  To combat climate change, we invite you to join ACTEnergies by becoming a member (online via Helloasso) or by supporting us financially through donations, particularly for the OZONE project.

Actions:

- August 25, 2025: Publication of a report on the deployment of microsensors.  As part of the O3SF project to deploy FNE83 microsensor stations in the Var region, funded by DREAL and the Regional Council, ActEnergies publishes the 2024–mid-2025 progress report:  O3SF Project for the Deployment of FNE83 Microsensor Stations in the Var

- On June 17, 2025, a public meeting organized by the local association ACTEnergies;  by TVD, Toulon Var Déplacements; by APE, the St Mandrier Environmental Protection Association; and by FNE83, France Nature Environnement du Var, brought together citizens, elected officials, and technical experts to discuss a central question:  how to rethink mobility in La Seyne-sur-Mer to improve quality of life by reducing pollution and improving traffic flow for pedestrians, bicycles, and cars.
