Working every day to support those in the agricultural sector in creating more fertile agriculture—from the soil to the landscape

Since 2007, the French Agroforestry Association has been working to accelerate the agroecological transition across France. To fulfill our mission, we carry out a wide range of activities:

• research and development,
• training, knowledge dissemination,
• regional coordination,
• sector development
• advocacy for agroforestry in the public debate.

With a network of over 130 partners in France and Europe, the French Agroforestry Association adopts a systemic and collective approach to address the challenges of today’s agriculture.

To support changes in practices across regions:

• We support farmers in their transition to agroecological practices.
• We collaborate with agricultural research and education to accelerate innovation.
• We work with technical operators to implement agricultural development programs at various scales, as well as with public agencies to promote agroforestry practices in all their forms.

Recognized as an ONVAR (National Organization for Agriculture and Rural Development) by the Ministry of Agriculture and backed by a network of over 130 partners in France and Europe,  the French Association for Agroforestry adopts a systemic and collective approach to address the challenges of modern agriculture.
