Its objectives focus on waste reduction; they are based on the principle of the circular economy and include a social and educational component.
As a member of the national network of resource centers and recycling centers, La Désencombrerie fulfills the four functions of a resource center: raising awareness, collecting, processing, and the charitable redistribution of secondhand items.
A team of about twenty volunteers works to receive, sort, weigh, process, and sell or redistribute your donations.
We also offer workshops to raise awareness about repair, reuse, and zero waste, according to a schedule established and communicated in advance.
