The Employer Pro-Bike Program: Vélocité is an OEPV partner
Vélocité is an OEPV-certified partner and provides support services to participants in the Employer Pro-Vélo program. Since the launch of the OEPV program in September 2021, more than 400 employers across France have joined the program. Vélocité’s experts in cycling policy have supported a number of them outside the department, including metropolitan areas, public transportation companies in other metropolitan areas equivalent to Montpellier’s TAM, industrial companies, and universities.
After offering its support services to promote a pro-cycling policy to several major employers in the Montpellier metropolitan area, Vélocité now shares (and builds upon!) its technical expertise throughout France.
With the Vigilo app, you enter a world where citizens take control of their mobility. They submit the necessary on-the-ground reports to highlight the problems encountered during their commutes. In this way, they improve everyone’s daily environment, increase their own safety and that of the most vulnerable, and bring to the attention of managers the problems encountered that fall within their purview, such as maintenance, hazardous areas, design flaws, etc. Vigilo is for everyone—people who get around by bike, on foot, in a wheelchair, with a stroller, a white cane, on a scooter, on a unicycle, etc.
