Purpose:
InCitu’s mission is to support, by providing tools, the creation of communities for exchange and sharing, and by providing specific support, of groups and organizations engaged in projects related to ecological transition, sustainable agriculture and food systems, which choose cooperation and networked action within their regions, with a view to the democratic co-creation of solutions to local problems, and who champion a transformative vision of society.
InCitu’s mission is to:
- Developing open-source commons, some of which are digital, to support collectives and organizations aligned with its mission in their strategic development and the management of their initiatives,
- Encourage the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and expertise through learning communities, creating a network conducive to social and ecological transition on a larger scale,
- Create dynamics conducive to the emergence of new economic models and forms of engagement, particularly in relation to issues of the reterritorialization of agriculture and food,
- Develop advocacy initiatives within the social and solidarity economy to support transformative social innovation and networked action in local communities, contribute to discussions among research and field actors,
- Support, through donations, the activities of public interest organizations that align with its mission, implement any other actions related to its mission or beneficial to the association.
