The CODYTER association (CO-DYnamiser les TErritoires Ruraux) is working with six municipalities in the Val de Quint to promote:
- biodiversity,
- major water issues,
- supporting farmers
- by involving residents and all local stakeholders
to build the region’s resilience.
The association’s goal is to raise awareness about water and biodiversity, to act TOGETHER to change our practices, and to encourage the creation of innovative agro-economic projects.
OUR ACTIONS:
- Codyter in partnership with the Les Yeux dans l'Eau festival
- Fruit tree planting: Participatory "Sous les Arbres" planting project
- Codyter helped organize several events at the 24th Rencontres de Die, focusing particularly on water issues and small-scale farming
- Organizing study tours: Four local farmers and livestock breeders participated in a visit to the GAEC du Montlahuc and observed their approach to landscape rehydration… Let’s see how we can draw inspiration from this!
- Participatory project to create 3 ponds for terrace farming
- Participation in a Regenerative Hydrology experiment: A plot of several hectares on a steep slope
. Initial objective: to retain water
. Four terraces, each 4 meters wide by 60 meters long (dug by hand in marl), and a 4-meter greenhouse.
An orchard planted with trees from the "Sous les arbres" initiative
