Saint-Loubès en Transition was founded in 2016 and has more than 500 supporters, organized into discussion and action groups to promote a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Saint-Loubès en Transition is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901 and has over 500 supporters, organized into 7 discussion and action groups to promote a more environmentally friendly lifestyle:
- Creation of community gardens and planting of fruit trees in public spaces -
La Cabane, a community center for living together, built from recycled materials
- Local Exchange Service (https://selstloubes.communityforge.net/)
- Repair Café, promoting repair over disposal
- Raising awareness about waste reduction through workshops and alternatives
- Introduction of a local currency, the MIEL, in our community-
Walking children to school with the Mille Pattes.
