Difficulty level :
Andès is the national network of solidarity grocery stores that empower those in need to take control of their food and their future.
THE PIONEERING NETWORK OF SOLIDARITY GROCERY STORES: founded in 2000, it brings together and coordinates more than 630 member organizations in France, including overseas territories: permanent, mobile, mixed, or student grocery stores.
A SUPPLY CENTER: 6 job training programs that supply fresh fruits and vegetables and other food items to the grocery stores of the Andès network as well as other food assistance organizations, while enabling people distant from the job market to train and work.
ANDÈS’ MISSIONS: The Andès network is built on a community of values and committed individuals dedicated to making quality food accessible to all while preserving dignity and promoting self-reliance. We develop and strengthen a network where solidarity and a sense of community enable us to support those in need so they can take back control of their food and their future.
