Description

HOP - Stop Planned Obsolescence is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901 and a certified environmental advocacy group.

HOP is an association whose mission is to unite citizens in the pursuit of sustainable, repairable products, thereby combating planned obsolescence!

We work to extend the lifespan of products and defend the interests of consumers, as well as those of the environment.

HOP’s story began in 2015, when France became the first country to ban planned obsolescence.

HOP is a committed organization dedicated to transitioning from a linear model—dominated by planned or accelerated obsolescence—to a circular, responsible, and fair economy that serves citizens.
