Covering nearly 10,000 hectares, the Marais de la Dives are of great ecological importance to our region: they are significant in terms of landscape, flora, and fauna, as well as for the quality and quantity of their water bodies. However, this site lacks a regulatory status that would ensure the long-term preservation of the marshes; its protection relies solely on the commitment of local stakeholders.
Since 2011, CREPAN has been working, with the support of the Seine-Normandy Water Agency, alongside local stakeholders to ensure the preservation of this important wetland. These efforts have been carried out under the leadership of FNE Normandie since January 2023.
