Raising Public Awareness of Environmental Issues

Habilis is an environmental awareness organization.

It refers to the “skillful man”—the one who, thanks to his longevity, was able to coexist with both the most primitive and the most advanced hominids of his time. He lived in harmony with Nature.

And what about us? It’s up to each of us to plant our own seed...

ABILIS is an eco-citizen organization that offers initiatives to raise awareness about the environment, nature, and biodiversity. These initiatives are aimed at the general public.

We are organized as a nonprofit under the French Law of 1901; the board has consisted of three members working collectively since our founding in 2019.

 The organization also mobilizes a group of about twenty volunteers who work on annual projects such as the “RDV HABILIS” workshops and help organize the biennial eco-citizen festival “Les Rencontres d’Habilis.”
