Description

Montpellier Zero Waste is a nonprofit organization established under the French Law of 1901, founded in August 2017. It brings together committed citizens and volunteers eager to take action to reduce waste and the squandering of resources, and to promote the Zero Waste movement. Montpellier Zero Waste is a local chapter of the national association Zero Waste France (formerly the CNIID), founded over 20 years ago, which works to protect the environment by advocating for waste reduction at the source and for more sustainable waste management

Our Goals

Promote the Zero Waste, Zero Waste initiative in Montpellier and its region
Raise awareness about waste issues and environmental preservation
Take action to prevent and reduce at the source the quantity and toxicity of all types of waste
Educate the public on waste reduction, recycling, reuse, and composting
Advocate for more sustainable waste management
