 The association UN AUTRE TOIT is based in Castres and promotes eco-friendly living through community-led housing and green building.  Its goal is to raise awareness, inform, and support those who wish to build, renovate, or live differently.

To this end, the association organizes and participates in events, meetings, and participatory construction projects to foster the exchange of knowledge and the sharing of experiences.  It connects project leaders with committed professionals to encourage collaborative and environmentally friendly practices.

UN AUTRE TOIT operates on a participatory model where each member contributes according to their skills and availability, thereby working to democratize more humane and sustainable housing.
