Promoting the establishment of new farmers and supporting the transfer of farming operations

Agriculture Paysanne 22 is an association founded in 1994 by farmers who wanted to pool and promote practices they had developed individually. It has since joined the national ADEAR network.

The association aims to promote the establishment of many farmers in the Côtes d’Armor region, as well as farming practices and values. To this end, initiatives supporting farm establishment and business succession, in partnership with other local farming organizations, are organized throughout the region.

Support for Setting Up: Our goal is to help anyone wishing to start a farming business find tailored support so that we can keep our countryside vibrant with a thriving farming community!

We offer programs specific to our association (group and individual orientation sessions, training from concept to project, etc.) or in partnership with others (the CIAP22 “Paysan Créatif” training, the PPP program led by the CRAB, etc.)

Training: We organize training programs tailored to the needs of aspiring farmers and active farmers, such as:

- Working harmoniously in a collective, Project Development (From Idea to Project),

- Preparing to pass on your farm,

- Using herding dogs,

- Biosecurity in pig farming,

- Ergonomics on a farm,

- Costing out a business start-up, takeover, or expansion project, Effective communication on social media, Being an employer, ...

We also organize study trips so that Breton farmers can learn about topics that are less common in the region and return with plenty of new ideas!
