Agropol’Eat aims to promote sustainable agriculture and food and to raise public awareness of the challenges of the agroecological and environmental transition by fostering collaboration among stakeholders, strengthening ties with the local community and its residents, and facilitating science-society dialogues, through the emergence of innovative events and projects. The association has set itself the goal of creating a permanent third place aligned with its objectives on the Agropolis-Lavalette campus. Our first concrete initiative was the creation of the Agropolis Market, which takes place every Tuesday evening and is now directly managed by the producers. This momentum continues today with our new eco-friendly project: Agropol’Eat Festival! Agropol’Eat Festival is a cultural and scientific event aimed at raising public awareness of the challenges of the agroecological transition. It is an event open to all audiences, young and old, experts or simply those curious by nature; Agropol’Eat Festival is for everyone. More than 50 partner organizations are involved in the organization to collaboratively create a diverse and rich program including: tours, conference-debates, activities and performances, cooking workshops, and a grand banquet with live music.
