About Us
The 2 Pieds 2 Roues association is an independent organization that has been advocating in Toulouse and its metropolitan area since 1981 for the promotion of everyday cycling and, since 2013, for the promotion of walking in the city. Approximately 750 members have joined us to defend and promote active modes of transportation.
Our initiatives:
– Collaborative work with public authorities through regular meetings governed by an agreement
– Awareness and prevention campaigns (the “Cyclists, Be Visible” campaign, the “Zone 30” campaign
– improving the cycling network through contributions to the Velobs app
– organizing events focused on specific infrastructure issues (traffic calming measures, adherence to bike lanes, etc.)
Our activities:
– Let’s Ride!
– Night rides
– Sunday rides
– participation in an annual advocacy ride organized by AF3V (2015), (2016), (2017)
– publication of a quarterly newsletter
– two practical guides on the Canal du Midi and the Canal de Garonne have been published
