Promoting ethical and socially responsible organic farming

 Nature & Progrès Aude is an association that brings together conscious consumers and agroecological producers and processors. Its goal is to promote and develop ethical and socially responsible organic agriculture.

United by an ethic and values that extend far beyond mere agricultural production, N&P members are involved in every stage of the process.  Whether it involves defining specifications, the ethical charter associated with the N&P label, surveys conducted on farms, or the committees responsible for awarding the label,  everything is established, managed, and validated by producer and consumer members.

We are committed to awarding the Nature &  Progress certification, organizing farmers’ fairs and markets, fostering connections between producers, processors, and consumers, offering training, and participating in information and awareness campaigns.

The Nature & Progrès Aude association is a member of the National Nature & Progrès Federation.

What does it mean to be a Nature & Progrès producer?

Nature & Progrès awards its certification through a Participatory Guarantee System that verifies compliance with specifications developed by professionals and consumers at the federal level.  An on-site inspection is conducted at the production site by a team consisting of a professional and a consumer. The findings are presented to the local Joint Accreditation and Control Commission, which issues an opinion. The decision is then validated or rejected at the federal level.  Throughout these various stages, there is discussion about practices, the problems encountered, and suggestions for improvement.
