Founded on November 13, 2019,  the Arbre et Paysage 66 association aims to promote the role of trees outside of forests and rural hedgerows, as well as to encourage their planting and preservation in order to protect the natural environment.

Our actions, which serve the public interest and the environment, aim to preserve our shared living heritage.

Recognized by the State, the Occitanie Region, and the Pyrénées-Orientales Department, the association is the leading operator for supporting the planting of trees and field hedges.

It is also a member of the Tram’66 regional network, which brings together Environmental and Sustainable Development Educators.

On a day-to-day basis, a board of directors and a team of five staff members ensure the smooth operation of the association.

In 2020, the AP66 association became the departmental technical operator for trees and hedgerows and joined the regional AFAHC Occitanie network (Association for Trees and Country Hedgerows in Occitanie)  which brings together hedge operators (12 departments of Occitanie are represented).
