CIVAM Thoré Montagne Receives TIMS CEE Funding

TIMS CEE is a program aimed at developing sustainable and inclusive mobility in France. It seeks to achieve energy savings by promoting more energy-efficient modes of transportation. To ensure a just transition, the goal is to enable everyone—especially those facing mobility challenges—to access essential services and fully exercise their fundamental rights.

 Carpooling: Carpooling through Mobicoop involves the shared use of a vehicle by a non-professional driver with one or more passengers to complete all or part of a trip originally planned by the driver.
This arrangement must not involve any payment beyond the sharing of travel expenses.

Solidarity transportation is a service for people facing mobility challenges.
It connects volunteer drivers with passengers who are unable to travel or can no longer do so, to assist them with their daily trips (medical appointments, administrative errands, shopping, visits to loved ones, cultural events, etc.). 
Trips are arranged based on the availability of volunteer drivers. We recommend giving 48 hours’ notice for everyone’s convenience. If no volunteer driver is available, Civam Thoré-Montagne will inform the passenger that their request cannot be fulfilled.

Provision of Vehicles and Electric Bicycles This is another way to use a car or an electric bicycle (e-bike): you don’t own it; you only use it when you need it.
A car spends 95% of its time idle. Yet, in rural areas, it often remains indispensable… while representing a significant financial burden. 

And for those who don’t have one, this can become a real obstacle to independence.
