Promote, raise awareness, and support residents interested in composting

The La Maison du Compost association aims to promote, raise awareness, and/or support citizens who wish to compost individually or collectively (garden composting, vermicomposting,  composting at the base of apartment buildings, in institutions, etc.). It promotes community composting in all its forms. It encourages the recovery and use of compost, particularly in natural gardening.

La Maison du Compost develops content focused on the prevention and local management of food waste (PGPROX) and related topics (food waste, natural gardening, etc.).  We offer customized content that we can tailor together based on your audience and objectives. 

Discover our activities in: 

• training
• composting workshops: La Maison du Compost, in partnership with the Eurométropole de Strasbourg, invites you to learn about community composting: recommendations and techniques for getting started individually or in small groups.  Come discover the different composting techniques: bin composting, surface or pile composting, and vermicomposting. (Cost: free; Duration: 2 hours)
• workshops on natural gardening & living soils (currently being developed)
• Broyat drop-off: You can now replenish the supply of structural materials at your composting site or naturally enrich your shared garden through the association’s Broyat & compost logistics

•  The St Gall shared garden – Strasbourg, Koenighoffen neighborhood. 
• Heyritz Park – Strasbourg, downtown area. 
• The Ameisenkoepfel Garden – Strasbourg, Robertsau-Wacken neighborhood
