Sharing knowledge about natural gardening, promoting agroecology, and preserving plant and animal biodiversity

The creation of the Jardin Nature Pibrac association, established under the French Law of 1901, was published in the Official Journal on September 21, 2013. It was founded by gardeners committed to protecting nature.

The association has set the following objectives:

1. To foster connections and exchanges among gardeners, sharing experiences—from beginners to experienced gardeners, from vegetable garden enthusiasts to ornamental gardeners, and from children to adults. The association serves as a friendly space for amateur gardeners to exchange ideas.

2. To pass on knowledge and expertise in gardening, horticulture, and arboriculture by providing technical training for amateur gardeners.

3. To promote natural gardening techniques within a framework of sustainable development, environmental protection, and respect for biodiversity.

4. To defend, preserve, and promote local plant and animal biodiversity.

The association organizes two major events:

- Festi'Jardin Nature et Plantes: one of the region’s largest plant and craft fairs specifically dedicated to gardening, featuring over 70 exhibitors, including nursery owners, professional horticulturists, and garden decor artisans (potters, carpenters, metalworkers).

- Biodiver'Stival: a week dedicated to biodiversity featuring six evenings of film screenings followed by discussions or lectures—open to all free of charge—with recent films and distinguished speakers. Activities and exhibitions are organized in elementary and middle schools.

The Pibrac Biodiversity Trail was created by the Jardin Nature Pibra Association as part of a “Biodiversity Awareness” call for projects by Toulouse Métropole and supported by the municipality of Pibrac.
  This trail is a 4-kilometer loop through a green and blue corridor connecting the town, the Bouconne Forest, and agricultural areas.
