Promote a zero-waste, zero-waste initiative in the Toulouse area.

 The Zero Waste Toulouse association was founded as an informal collective in 2016 and became a collegial association in February 2018.  Its goal is to promote the zero-waste, zero-waste initiative in the Toulouse area.

Our missions

Zero Waste Toulouse raises awareness and supports the people of Toulouse in achieving a real reduction in waste and wastefulness through four main areas of focus:

• Informing all sectors of society and, more generally, anyone who seeks its expertise, about waste-related issues;
• Promoting the Zero Waste approach (zero waste, zero waste);
• Take action to prevent and reduce the quantity and toxicity of all types of waste;
• Advocate for the elimination of waste treatment methods that are least environmentally friendly and for the implementation of solutions to reduce waste and wastefulness.

The

Zero Waste Toulouse is part of the national network led by the Zero Waste France association, which includes more than 120 local groups in metropolitan France and the overseas territories!  On a larger scale, Zero Waste France is part of the international networks Zero Waste Europe, Break Free From Plastic, and GAÏA (Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives).

 Zero Waste Business Certification recognizes the journey and results achieved by European SMEs in their transition toward waste reduction and the circular economy.
