Structure : The Pin'Prunelles Farm
France
Saint Just-en-Bas
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Difficulty level :
Nestled in the heart of the rugged Haut-Forez mountains, between Saint-Étienne and Clermont-Ferrand, the Ferme des Pin’prunelles is a true haven of biodiversity and resilience.
At an altitude of 1,000 meters, on land shaped by a harsh climate marked by late frosts and slow-to-arrive springs, we passionately cultivate certified organic heirloom seeds (FR-BIO-10).
It is based in Saint-Just-en-Bas in the Loire region. In early 2023, the association is launching a local discussion group focused on forestry issues in the Haut-Forez region (straddling the Loire and Puy-de-Dôme departments).
Why choose our seeds?
Adapted to climate challenges: Grown without irrigation, our varieties are selected for their resilience to drought and their ability to thrive in extreme conditions.
100% artisanal production: As a committed farmer, I produce every seed myself, taking special care to preserve the richness of heirloom varieties.
Respectful farming: Inspired by the principles of Living Soil Gardening, our farm operates without mechanization or petroleum, in harmony with nature and the cycles of life.
Across our 2,000 m² (soon to be 3,000 m²) of crops, every seed is a testament to our commitment to resilient, sustainable, and environmentally respectful agriculture. These hardy seeds, adapted to mountain conditions, are the result of years of work to create a fertile and sustainable system without disturbing the soil.
Cultivate abundance, even in the face of climate challenges. By choosing our seeds, you help preserve traditional farming knowledge and support local, ethical, and forward-thinking agriculture.
