Since last year, the Familles Rurales Marne network has been piloting a Solidarity Mobility service, notably with the support of the Marne Departmental Council.
This service provides
:– door-to-door transportation (from home, with the option of an accompaniment)
for people of all ages whose access to transportation is limited due to their financial situation or geographic location.
– provided by volunteer drivers who receive compensation.
This service is expanding rapidly throughout the Brie and Champagne regions. In fact, since January 2019, over 3,000 km have been traveled for 24 beneficiaries, thanks to 8 drivers.

In addition, the association is looking for new drivers. If you have a personal vehicle and a little time to spare for a project based on mutual aid and solidarity, you will be contacted based on your availability, with no commitment required on your part. You will receive an allowance of €0.35 per kilometer traveled and will be eligible for training (road safety, etc.).
