Bardane supports the social and environmental transition of individuals, organizations, and communities to strengthen the resilience of rural areas.
Specifically, Bardane provides methodological and technical support for the emergence, development, and strengthening of cooperation and transition initiatives.
OUR PROJECTS:
Third Places: Since 2021, Bardane has supported emerging third-place projects in rural areas every year. The association provides tools and methods to sustain and strengthen their activities.
Design Your Village: Tailored to your needs, “Re(design) Your Village” fosters cooperation among local stakeholders—elected officials, residents, economic actors, and community organizations—to launch or strengthen transition projects that address both their aspirations and needs while responding to today’s major challenges.
Awareness-raising: To engage residents and elected officials on issues related to climate change and biodiversity loss, Bardane offers participatory and creative workshops centered on murals: climate murals, ecological rebirth murals, and biodiversity murals.
Training for Elected Officials and Staff: Bardane raises awareness among elected officials and staff about social and ecological issues and organizes training sessions—both in-house and cross-organizational—to equip local governments and empower them to become active agents of the ecological transition.
