Let’s protect the forest by purchasing land with significant environmental value

 Today in Corrèze, the forests (95% privately owned) have fallen prey to machinery and the insatiable appetite of industrialists. Productivism is taking over our forests and imposing market rules on living organisms.  Landscapes are devastated in a matter of days, and all of this with the state’s support. In fact, 87% of funded reforestation projects involve clear-cutting, and the resulting plantations consist primarily of monocultures.

• Destroys the soil and reduces its fertility
• Disfigures our landscapes
• Depresses the residents
• Is a theft from our children
• Turns our forests into timber mills

Our commitments

• We purchase forest parcels with high environmental stakes
• We protect the forest from clear-cutting and ban the use of harvesters
• We promote sustainable forestry techniques
• We allow harvested plots to regenerate naturally and leave part of the forest to evolve freely
• We organize public events centered around the forest so that everyone can discover and reconnect with this unique heritage

The Forest-School Project

This is the project we are developing by using our acquisitions as a Forest School. Since the Francis Hallé Association for the Primary Forest has published posters and educational worksheets on the subject,  all that remained for us was to convert the plots of our Forest-School located in Corrèze into classrooms amidst the trees.
