At the third place LE LOWCAL, our collective brings together ecology, hospitality, and low-tech solutions. We run a solidarity-based co-living initiative, a community café, a shared garden, and a coworking space. Our goal is to promote the social and professional integration of refugees, while revitalizing the urban fabric. Five collectives are involved on a daily basis: La MYNE, Méandre, On The Green Road, and ours.
The Tremplin program shapes the venue’s calendar of events throughout the year: development projects, permaculture gardening workshops, and participatory cooking sessions. Some initiatives are specifically tailored for exiles: public writing services, mental health counseling, and sociolinguistic workshops for professional integration.
The La Manufacturette association aims to promote voluntary simplicity and respect for life by offering a variety of hands-on activities. It is organized around two main areas—Environment and Solidarity—with a focus on hosting friendly, participatory events. In this way, everyone can rediscover traditional craftsmanship through fun, hands-on workshops.
