Founded in December 2014 at the initiative of civil society and agricultural organizations, CHAMPS DU PARTAGE promotes and develops agricultural pilot sites across the four departments of the former Poitou-Charentes Region. Since 2020, Champs du Partage has evolved into a Cooperative Society of Collective Interest (SCIC), which drives the “Espace Test” initiative and opens up opportunities for new activities (such as business incubation).
The purpose of the organization is (excerpt from the articles of incorporation):
“To facilitate and ensure the creation and takeover of small-scale farming operations, particularly on small farms within the framework of a local economy, by offering a pilot phase and a collective operating model.”
Using the following means (excerpt from the articles of incorporation):
“To lead and initiate a pilot phase for the future cooperative by providing support and guidance to project leaders through a network of partners.”
