The A2MAINS workshop gives furniture a new lease on life and creates pieces from pallets to raise public awareness about the need to change our consumption habits in order to preserve natural resources.
These creative pieces are inspired by current trends.
The A2MAINS workshop helps integrate people who are far from the job market into the local economy. Participants are referred by social service providers from Pôle Emploi, the Mission Locale, Cap Emploi, CMS, or local RSA coordinators. They are hired under 6- to 7-month employment contracts, which may be renewed.
It also helps families improve their homes with a focus on better living and better housing.
The A2MAINS workshop is a job placement program run by the A.M.I. Group (Aide Mutuelle à l'Insertion), a non-profit organization under the French Law of 1901.
