For people in precarious situations, to have their vehicles repaired and maintained safely and at a low cost

Guided by the strong values of the social economy, we offer people in precarious situations the opportunity to have their vehicles repaired and maintained at a lower cost and in complete safety.  Other services are available to them, such as car, scooter, or even electric-assist bicycle rentals

.

Our goal: To ensure that mobility does not hinder the job search or the ability of those affected to remain employed.

Located in the town of Courrières, access to the services of the Garage Solidaire in the Hénin-Carvin metropolitan area is reserved for job seekers whose income is below the minimum wage, recipients of social assistance,  young people under 26 years of age registered with Pôle Emploi, and employees of SIAEs (Structures for Integration through Economic Activity).

Services offered:

• Routine repair and maintenance services: oil changes, brakes, exhaust, tires, windshield wiper replacement
• Vehicle rental at solidarity-based rates (2- and 4-wheeled) for eligible individuals.

The Solidarity Garage also supports the professional reintegration of people who are far from the job market through training.
