Our Action

Our mission is to preserve marine ecosystems and drive lasting change for the planet through two main approaches worldwide:

Eco-citizen initiatives

On-the-ground initiatives focused on collecting litter along coastlines. We inspire and encourage everyone to take action by organizing volunteer activities for the general public worldwide. We provide our own collection containers, called Cleanup Boxes, and ensure responsible waste management.

Educational Outreach

Through the Rescue Ocean Academy (ROA), we train educators and lead classroom sessions to raise awareness among young people about environmental protection, combining information with action. Our program is officially accredited by the French Ministry of National Education.

By the Numbers

• 745 tons of waste collected from the environment (target: 1,500 tons)
• 43,000 children reached (goal: 80,000)
• 2,000 annual members (goal: 5,000)
• 54 active branches (target: 100)
