Environmental Awareness in Bignan

Environmental Awareness Association based in Bignan (Morbihan, Brittany)

Cardamines et Libellules is:

• - about thirty members
• - numerous nature outings and workshops since 2014
• - The Foto Natur en Argoat festival (the fourth edition will take place in the fall of 2020)
• - local recognition with the support of the Bignan town hall and recognized with the Crédit Agricole Local Life Awards
• - plenty of projects

Objectives

To raise awareness among the public—adults and children alike—about the nature in our immediate surroundings. To train the eye and the hand, and to share knowledge. To learn to marvel at the “little things” that nature offers us, to learn to love being in touch with nature, and to behave more respectfully toward our surroundings.

Resources

 Activities for all ages (nature outings, building birdhouses and treehouses, cleaning natural areas, developing spaces, etc.), exhibitions, themed hikes, photo outings, creating interpretive trails or communication tools, etc.
