Écoravie is located in the Drôme region and is part of the OASIS cooperative
Founded in March 2009 in Dieulefit in the Drôme region, Écoravie is an iconic collective, eco-friendly, and community-oriented housing project. Comprising around forty people, the collective has distinguished itself in particular for its ability to construct large residential buildings using bioclimatic design. Three net-zero-energy buildings have already been completed, and a community house will soon follow
The project consists of creating an eco-village comprising three buildings, each with 5 to 7 units, as well as a community center for residents’ use that is open to the village. The choice of a concentrated housing layout allows for maximum preservation of the natural environment. The units range from approximately 50 to 110 m² and include layouts from one-bedroom to four- or five-bedroom apartments. In each of the three buildings, a laundry room and storage areas will be shared.
The three residential buildings are constructed using natural, healthy, bio-based materials (wood, straw, earth) and local techniques focused on sustainable development
