Our Actions
Led by “Les Embruns,” a collective of about a hundred people united around
Pierre Marcel, its founder, the Salée association currently runs two projects
- Les Projections Salées are maritime film screenings. A cornerstone of the association, these screenings take place in unique venues, notably at the Cité de la Voile in Lorient, indoors or outdoors, in schools, and at corporate events. The films are followed by a discussion featuring anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories. By creating an emotional connection with these works, we hope to turn our audience into ambassadors for the films and the maritime causes they champion.
- Raconte Ta Mer is a video contest and an educational program for youth. We invite and train young people to share their connection to the sea by creating a short film. Our goal is to help young people connect with the ocean so they can understand the importance of protecting it.
