A "Ressourcerie" is a place where all kinds of items and materials that their owners no longer need but that can be useful to others are collected and repurposed.
You’ll find EVERYTHING AT LOW PRICES in the shops at the Ressourcerie in Foix.
Our goal is to offer you a sustainable and responsible alternative to the overconsumption of new products.
The cycle of items at the Ressourcerie
1 – Bring your items to the Grande Ressourcerie
At the Ressourcerie, we collect all functional items that you no longer use but that could be useful to others.
2 – Sorting items at the Ressourcerie
After you drop off your items, they are sorted and then sent to the workshop that will give them a new life.
3 – In each workshop, the item is cleaned, tested, and repaired
All our items are cleaned and tested by the workshop’s staff and volunteer team before being put on the shelves.
4 – Each item is stocked on the shelves in our stores
The workshop manager is responsible for placing the item on the shelves, either in the main thrift store or in the small boutique.
