Who are we?
Founded in 2012 around a network of organic farmers in the Roanne region, the association Vivre Bio en Roannais brings together citizens committed to promoting and developing organic farming and alternative ecological practices.
What do we do?
Events
Our “Organic Summer Days”: once a year, on one of our farms, a day of gatherings, activities, and conferences open to everyone to highlight organic farming and alternative ecological practices in our region.
Lectures, activities, and organizing organic and locally sourced buffets for communities.
We are involved in projects
—agricultural start-ups (Etamine test site, Les Légumes de Neulise farm)
—development initiatives focused on local, healthy, and accessible food (LEADER)
—research on food quality (PSDR)
—and participatory selection of heirloom seeds (Maison de la semence, DIVAGRI).

The Press:
In 2022, the association Vivre bio en Roannais acquired a mobile press that travels throughout the Roanne region and neighboring departments to press fruit for individuals and producers.
