“Les Frusques de Carole” Community Boutique

This community-driven, eco-friendly thrift store is a project by residents for residents. The idea, which originated in 2019, took shape in 2021 with the creation of a volunteer collective within Temps Libre. Recognizing both the demand for a local thrift store and the lack of such a facility in the area, the association embarked on this wonderful project.

The Objectives

– Change consumer behavior regarding clothing purchases
.– Create a hub for cultural activities and engagement centered on clothing through sewing, “customization,” and fashion workshops.
– To provide families with access to affordable yet high-quality clothing
.– To foster partnerships among local stakeholders
.– To eventually launch a local clothing brand.

Hours of Operation

Les Frusques de Temps Libre is open on

• Monday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Friday: Closed.
• Saturday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Les Frusques de Temps Libre will hold pop-up events 2 to 3 times a year, traveling to one of the towns in the Leins Gardonnenque area. This will be an opportunity to build partnerships with local organizations (nonprofits, caterers, fabric stores, etc.).
