Building a new economic, social, and solidarity-based model

Led by Coop'actions, La Fab'coop is a wonderful nonprofit organization in the Dordogne that brings together a wide range of public and private stakeholders working toward a just transition in the region.

La Fab’coop proposes rethinking the ways we consume, produce, work, and live together in order to address major environmental challenges.

At the heart of our DNA, cooperation is a deep-seated conviction that helps strengthen bonds and trust among our members, with the goal of building a new economic, social, and cultural model.

• We initiate and support cooperative projects such as:

- The creation of the third place Le Bahut des Transitions, dedicated to local development and neighborhood life. Located in the Alba neighborhood, just steps from the greenway and the banks of the Dordogne, the former high school has been transformed into a space for activities, collaboration, and social interaction

- The creation of Coop'R24, a departmental network focused on the circular economy and resource optimization.
