Association for the Preservation of Amazonian Agroecology

AMAEA works to preserve the culture of indigenous peoples by promoting Amazonian agroecology and conserving wild flora and fauna. A necessary Franco-Brazilian partnership.  Support our local partners and join us on this path of sustainability and beauty!

From France, we support local organizations in Brazil: the Associação Biodiversidade Amazônica  (ABA), which promotes traditional agroecological knowledge and indigenous cultures, and also manages participatory ecological reserve projects such as the Tauari Jatoba agroecological park in Alter do Chao in the state of Pará.  Similarly, the company Samauma Ltda., which was instrumental in the creation of the A.E.A.  (Amazonian Agroecology), established in 1996, involving 44 farming families in Maués, Amazonas State, and over 2,500 hectares of preserved forest.
