La Boîte À Utiles is the appliance recycling center in northern Toulouse, providing solutions for everyone to conserve resources and reduce waste.

But it’s much more than that—we share experiences and tools so that everyone can learn, putting the user at the heart of reuse and repair.

Want to repair your appliance to save money on a new purchase? Our UTILE solution:

A one-stop experience to learn, repair, have your appliance repaired, or replace it

Whether you’ve never used a screwdriver or are an expert DIYer, we regularly host workshops to teach you how your electrical appliances work, how to properly maintain them, and, of course, how to repair them.

Despite our best efforts, there may be times when your product can’t be salvaged.

In that case, you can leave it with us for disassembly and recycling through the dedicated program to support the circular economy.

COLLECTION

A product that isn’t thrown away means one less piece of waste, but above all, it’s an opportunity to give it a second life and avoid producing a new one!

 Repair/resale, reuse of spare parts, educational use, or research into repair techniques—and, in the worst-case scenario, dismantling and sorting. La Boîte À Utiles can collect all Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) for reuse or recycling.
