An organization that gives clothes and shoes a second life

Récup-solidaire ASBL is a nonprofit organization that gives a second life to clothes and shoes that have become too small or no longer suit our tastes. The textile industry is one of the most polluting sectors, and our mission is to reduce its environmental impact—in our own small way.

Clothing Exchange: a pop-up consignment shop

Your closets are overflowing with clothes and shoes you’ll never wear again. Don’t panic—you can give them a second life effortlessly and get some cash back!

Récup-solidaire ASBL offers to sell the fashion items you wish to part with on your behalf.

A “turnkey” sales service

How does the clothing swap work? The dates for upcoming sales days are announced on the website under the Events section and on the Facebook page. Donors then contact the team to register (for a fee of 10 euros). Next, they receive labels for their items. Step three: on the morning of the sale, sellers drop off their pre-labeled items. Then, the Récup-solidaire ASBL team takes care of everything: setup, sales and advice, and payment collection. That same evening, sellers can pick up their earnings and any unsold items. Convenient and easy, sellers set the prices for their own items.

Clothing Swap: A socially conscious yet entertaining event!

TROC-PENDERIE invites you to become a conscious consumer in the face of overconsumption, all while scoring great deals. The event isn’t just for fashionistas but for anyone looking to refresh their wardrobe responsibly, while enjoying a pleasant time filled with wonderful encounters and great finds.

TROC-PENDERIE hosts clothing swap events where items are exchanged for points. At each event, bring your gently used clothes and accessories that you no longer wear in exchange for points, which you can then use to get other items. Keep your points from one event to the next through your account, so you can swap at your own pace based on what you really need!

Clothing drives during special events

Donating clothes during our one-time collection drives to our organization allows us to help people who cannot afford to dress properly.

• We redistribute a portion of these donations, enabling the most disadvantaged to continue dressing appropriately and thus maintain their dignity.
•   We sell them at low prices during our charity events. The proceeds from these sales help fund our organization’s operations and support our social initiatives.
