Les Jardins de Voltaire maintains an inclusive and community-oriented vegetable garden
“to do good for ourselves and for others”
Workshops: Participatory permaculture workshop at the Château de Voltaire
Join us in maintaining, landscaping, sowing, planting, and harvesting delicious crops at Les Jardins de Voltaire, in accordance with permaculture principles. These workshops are led by Daniel, who guides us with passion and his valuable knowledge. Free and reserved for association members (remember to bring your boots and gloves)
Inclusion: Our association welcomes organizations working to support the inclusion of people with disabilities
For adults: The vegetable garden is tended by volunteers and members of the association. We pool our efforts and our harvests in a spirit of sharing, solidarity, and camaraderie!
We gather for workshops led by our permaculture facilitator on Saturday or Sunday afternoons to grow vegetables together between February and November.
For children: WEDNESDAYS IN THE GARDENS
Outdoor activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Wednesday (excluding school holidays). Registration is open on Helloasso: you can sign up by the quarter or for the entire year (September to July)
On the agenda: Gardening activities, nature observation, environmental awareness, cooking workshops…
For schools: We have developed “Nature and Heritage” days in collaboration with the Château de Voltaire. On the day’s program (10 a.m.–4 p.m.): Tour of the Château and a sensory tour of the Vegetable Garden. For children ages 3 to 12.
