We are Les Semeurs d’Envies, an educational and cultural organization open to everyone, based on a permaculture farm.
OUR GARDENS
A place for permaculture experimentation, they are created first and foremost to bring biodiversity back into our gardens. A refuge for local flora and fauna, but also a food garden, they help us share new ways of thinking about and designing our private gardens that are more environmentally friendly.
Here you will find:
- a food garden, featuring a 1,000 m² permaculture mandala, a scent garden, and wild foraging areas
- A 3,000 m² wildlife refuge managed through ecopasture: in this area, you’ll find an orchard, a greenhouse, a sheepfold, and a chicken coop built from reclaimed wood and pallets, as well as an apiary for black bees, the local species.
- Eco-buildings: a “bergeaillerie” (a sheepfold and chicken coop made from pallets), and a “nest house” (a 12 m² cottage made of hemp/lime with earth/straw insulation), designed to minimize the environmental impact of their construction and built with volunteers during participatory work camps
