An economic model based on solidarity and the reuse of material resources

A social and environmental cooperative and member of the Emmaus movement.

Thirty years ago, we already believed it was urgent for us to collectively change the way we work and consume.

By creating Les Ateliers du Bocage, we wanted to offer an economic model based on solidarity and the reuse of material resources, to enable people facing social exclusion to rebuild their lives through work.
We started with two activities in the Deux-Sèvres region: the manufacture of wooden pallets and the maintenance of natural areas.

Since then, we have forged our own path and developed activities that are increasingly committed to the environment, aimed at everyone—individuals, businesses, local governments, and organizations—and across all of France.

  Today, we support social, ecological, and digital transitions. We demonstrate every day that a new, responsible economic model is possible.
