 Who are we?

Ecoscience Provence is a scientific association dedicated to environmental preservation. Since 2005, it has been carrying out projects centered on three main themes: the circular economy, sustainable consumption, and sustainable tourism.

Based in the Provence Verte region for over 15 years and with waste reduction as its primary objective, it is only natural that the association receives support from the Provence Verte urban community. 

Our projects: 

New consumption habits with the Commerce Engagé labels

Commerce Engagé is a regional initiative created in 2006 by Ecoscience Provence. It consists of three labels: Commerce Engagé®, Producteur Engagé®, and Restaurant Engagé®.

Commerce Engagé enables residents of a region to change their consumption habits by making it easier to identify economic actors committed to an eco-responsible approach:

• Waste reduction and packaging minimization
• Marketing of local products, promoting short supply chains and local initiatives
• Resource management and energy conservation
• Environmental and social responsibility

The Zero Waste Workshops

One Saturday a month, in Brignoles 

Our workshops take place at the La Courtoise resource center in Brignoles. You’ll meet Fanny, our facilitator, Cathy, our partner from the Provence Verte metropolitan area, and occasionally specialized guest speakers.
