A forum for discussion aimed at achieving zero carbon, zero poverty, and zero exclusion

OUR VISION

We believe that to reduce poverty, combat exclusion, and address climate change, a global and concerted mobilization of all stakeholders is essential. It is both individually and collectively that each of us can work toward a world of Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, and Zero Poverty.

CONVERGENCES, A PLATFORM FOR REFLECTION

Launched in 2008, Convergences is a platform for reflection, mobilization, and advocacy. Convergences promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the fight against poverty, exclusion, and climate change in both developed and developing countries. Comprising 300 partner organizations from all sectors, the Association works to stimulate reflection and action, disseminate best practices, and foster the co-creation of innovative partnerships with significant societal impact.

Convergences works in all areas that can have a decisive impact on its objectives: sustainable development, international solidarity for development, solidarity-based and inclusive finance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), social entrepreneurship, the social and solidarity economy, and new technologies for development.

The Working Groups (WGs) are Convergences’ permanent advisory bodies, dedicated to collective reflection, experience-sharing, and co-creation

In France, this translates into their contribution to:

• the planning of events organized by Convergences and its partners, notably the 3Zéro World Forum—co-designing the editorial line and main themes of the Forums, preparing sessions, and identifying speakers;
• defining the editorial line of the three Barometers (Barometer of Impact Finance, Social Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Solutions), reference publications that position Convergences and its members within the ecosystem;
• – co-creating deliverables—opinion pieces, maps, charters, handbooks, and other collaborative documents. These deliverables are concise tools for professionals addressing issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals;
• the creation of new collaborations among its members and the fostering of an engaged community.

Convergences’ international networks are currently expanding rapidly; working groups are also being established and facilitated in the countries and regions where Convergences Forums take place. The discussions led by all national platforms are intended to contribute to a global collective reflection and to resonate both at the 3Zero World Forum and at international forums
